Challenge

As a recognised brand across EMEA, with a HQ in the USA, Twentieth Century Fox have a significant number of stakeholders involved in the recruitment process.  They planned to significantly increase headcount across EMEA in order to strengthen their regional and country presence. The challenges were to gain control and visibility of authorised vacancies, manage the agency supply chain and develop a PSL with improved terms, develop a direct sourcing capability and gain visibility of recruitment spend through improved MI.  It was also necessary to source a broad range of skill sets ranging from a country MD to a Category Manager.

Solution

Working in partnership with the hiring community on a variety of time zones, all vacancies were captured and approved. Then the attraction planning strategy relevant for each country and specific roles were developed and, through a Managed Supplier approach, international and country-specific PSL’s and SLA’s were established. The 20th CF hiring team worked in close partnership with Chris McCarthy to conduct regular progress reviews. 20th CF also developed a bespoke, international web presence in order to support both their internal resource management and external direct supply.

Results

Significant cost savings have been achieved, and more importantly timescales were met for the appointment of key roles across EMEA, which ensured business continuity. The relationship developed further to become an RPO, and customer satisfaction results have improved year-on-year.
